 About National conference on Banking and finance (NCBF)

Finance conference on banking and finance is an annual event organized by MIIM finance faculty. Every year NCBF provides a platform to finance professionals and finance faculty across India to discuss various topics on opportunities, challenges, changes in policies and regulation in finance and banking.  NCBF invites papers for its 6th conference to be held on 15th October 2019 at MIIM Kuttikkanam.

The Theme of NCBF 2019

“Illustrative changes in the Indian financial system and its impact on the Indian economy“

Introducing changes and policy innovations are two important activities of any economy that is moving from a growing economy to a mature economy last two decades. The Indian economy passed through several changes and innovations in the changes  in the areas like accounting and taxation regulation on the financial market, innovation in the financial transactions and payments, relaxation and tightening of policies in the banking and financial area, collaboration with the foreign economy, etc have made the Indian economy to much stronger.

This conference is an attempt to provide a platform to discuss the changes happened in the Indian economy and its impact on banking and finance.

It aims to bring practitioners policymakers, researchers and academicians from the area of banking, finance, and accounting together to discuss how recent policy changes affect future opportunities.

Call for paper

Paper Category: Empirical, Conceptual, Research-in-Progress and Case studies.

Guidelines for Authors:

The manuscript should be typed with 1.5 line spacing on (A4) page with 3cm wide margins. Figures and tables in the manuscripts are to be presented at the end of the manuscripts. Participants wishing to present a paper should first submit an abstract with max 400 words. Follow APA style 6th edition for reference and citations. All abstracts will be reviewed and authors will receive feedback from the organizing committee

NCBF Best paper award

There will be  ” MIIM – NCBF 2019 Best Paper” awards given at the conference. The papers will be chosen by a panel of experts from the papers presented at the conference. Cash awards Rs.10,000/.     

Outstanding papers will be considered for publication in the following peer-reviewed and indexed journal –Marian Journal of Professional Management with ISSN number: 2456-9003. A panel of experts will consider the best paper which gives the most significant contribution to the conference. The decision of the panel will be final and binding.

There will also be an award for Outstanding Student Paper. However, for a paper to gain this award one of the authors must have attended the conference and presented the paper.

Travel and Accommodation: Participants are responsible to make their own travel arrangements.

The registration fee includes registration kit, lunch, and refreshments per participant and does not include accommodation/ room charges. Paid accommodation can be arranged on prior request
