History

Kristu Jyoti College of Management & Technology came into existence at the Chethipuzha hills of Changanassery, Kottayam, Kerala with His Grace Geevarghese Mar. Themothios, Bishop of Thiruvalla Diocese laying down the foundation stone for the construction of the building in the year 2002. The inauguration of the courses of the college was performed by Mar Joseph Powathil on 3rd December 2002. The First Principle of the college was Rev. Fr. Cyriac Madathil CMI. From then onwards, the college was led by a galaxy of visionary Managers and Principals with the present Principal Rev. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI serving the institution in a stellar and competent manner for the last decade.

The college in its formative stage had only a few degree programmes, but over the years, the college came to have four Postgraduate programmes and seven Undergraduate programmes. Nowadays, the college does have more than 1500 students,65 faculty members and an adequate number of non-teaching staff members to take care of the academic and non-academic interests.
